Ribbon Turn uses a folded steel strip to connect a flat under-book base with an upright support. The exterior edge turns outward into a narrow sculptural fold, adding dimension while leaving the book-facing surface uncomplicated.
The bases slide beneath the outer books so the arrangement helps anchor the supports. Open spaces between the folds keep the pieces visually lighter than solid block bookends, making them suited to a desk or compact shelf.
