Aperture surrounds a slender glass flower tube with an open ceramic frame. One side rises in a straight column; the other curves inward, creating an off-center window around the stem. The opening keeps the piece visually light while allowing the ceramic structure to read as a standalone sculpture.
The glass tube lifts out from its recessed seat for filling and cleaning. With the tube removed, the ceramic frame remains an open decorative object for a bookshelf or console.
